Julie, Thank you for including my Journey to the Past blog in your list. I will have to check out the others on your list as some of them are new to me. Merry Christmas.

Thanks for the link to the article on Goodreads, Julie. I recently started exploring the website--I am, after all, a reader--and get the feeling there is much more there than is initially apparent. While that article is slanted toward writers, it looks like it includes links to several other helpful articles which will help me in my own exploration of the site.

Jacqui, I've been using Goodreads for a few months. It's kind of a neat deal and I've gotten some great recommendations on books, just by seeing what my like-minded friends are reading (or have read). I am friends with a few authors and know their profiles are a little different, but haven't really explored it. I just thought it was an interesting article and a good reference should I become an "author" someday.

And I did it again...spelling your name wrong, Jacqi. Boy, that's one hard habit to break!! My fingers just naturally type it that way...and I haven't even worked with the woman in 10 years!
