That looks like a fun day. Yes the glasses are great but did you notice that her purse fabric matches something on the chair in front of her, probably a light jacket?

This is a photo of my grandmother and a cousin. I have no idea where it was taken, but if I had to guess, probably one of the Chicago beaches at Lake Michigan. If I had to guess a timeframe, I'd say the 1940s.
My guess is more like the mid to early 50's. I think it was taken in Antioch at one of the beaches in the Chain of Lakes.
