Family Heirloom Meme - A Collection of Treasures

A week or so ago, I challenged my fellow Genea-Bloggers to decide what family heirlooms they would risk saving in the even of a disaster.  I received 10 responses with an array of precious treasures.  So, without further ado, let's open the treasure chest and take a peak at our collection of family treasures!

Margaret Ann posted Decisions, Decisions, What Heirloom would I Save? at her blog GeneaDiva's History, Genealogy and "Stuff".
Over at From Axer to Ziegler, Linda posted My Genealogy Disaster Box would be Overflowing!, and tells me in her email that she's going to create a disaster plan.
Amy Lenertz Coffin at We Tree tells us in her post Meme: Family Heirlooms, that she plans to save something of her husband's.
Check out Terry Thornton's posts his top ten list, My list of items to save as others throw the crystal out the second story window and carry out the pillows..., at his blog Hill Country of Monroe County, Mississippi.
So The Legacy Can Live On comes to us from Wendy Littrell at her blog All My Branches Genealogy.
Elyse shows us some really neat items over in her post What Would You Save? at her blog Elyse's Genealogy Blog.
Thomas MacEntee answers the question What Would I Take In A Disaster? over at his blog Destination: Austin Family.

Family Heirlooms - What Would You Take In An Evacuation? is Carol Wilkerson's post at her blog iPentimento.

Kathryn Lake Hogan shares Saving My Heirlooms From A Disaster at her blog LOOKING4ANCESTORS.
And finally, my post, Family Heirloom Meme - My Treasures.

A special thanks to everyone who participated in this meme.  I was initially posting some thoughts about family heirlooms and thought if anyone wanted to join me, I'd be happy to post their's on my blog.  Thomas convinced me to do it as a meme.  Since I am new to this whole blog-meme-carnival-etc. thing, I was pretty nervous, but I agreed to do it.  I think it turned out pretty darn good...carnival host, here I come!  Again, thanks to everyone who shared their treasures.
