I've always added the cemetery info as an event, but decided about six months ago to start adding them to the location and using the little + button to add details to the burial (I honestly don't know how long that + button has been there, I've been using Legacy since v6, and just discovered it last year, so is it an update or was I just blind all these year...who knows!!).Juliehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09699560976080566224noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2851868154073731740.post-85466885585908636232013-06-07T18:23:25.976-05:002013-06-07T18:23:25.976-05:00Great ideas, Julie! I also do cemetery names like Linda described. And my Legacy color scheme is blue and gray. :-)Debbie Blanton McCoyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00565302178384332096noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2851868154073731740.post-71375443297978270902013-06-07T15:36:15.523-05:002013-06-07T15:36:15.523-05:00I usually enter my locations using auto-type and r...I usually enter my locations using auto-type and rarely look at the master list, but thanks for the tip, Linda...I had no idea you could sort them that way!Juliehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09699560976080566224noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2851868154073731740.post-44168531090004283422013-06-07T14:16:29.228-05:002013-06-07T14:16:29.228-05:00Julie, I put "places" in my location fie...Julie, I put "places" in my location field right now. Always have since I stared using Legacy about 7 years ago. I don't like the buried place/address fields either so I don't use them. My cemetery names are all included in the location field.

To make things easy to find in the location master list, I just sort the locations in reverse so everything in a state or particular county sorts together.Linda McCauleyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08402203453403304529noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2851868154073731740.post-66557688986332303992013-06-07T13:38:00.270-05:002013-06-07T13:38:00.270-05:00Congratulations on (seemingly) being one of the fe...Congratulations on (seemingly) being one of the few people who've figured out that it's not mandatory to retain the ugly mustard color scheme that Legacy ships with.
I agree with many of your remarks especially re: leaving spouses in a side-by-side display.Randyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15084869946907300038noreply@blogger.com
